Biography: After graduating from William Howard Taft High School, attended UCLA for 1.5 years . Worked in various clerical positions, moved to San Francisco, married, had one child, divorced after five years. While working in the business office of a hospital in Marin County, became very interested in going back to school. My child was a special needs individual and I became interested in working with handicapped children.

Through my ex-husband’s mother, met the love of my life, Robert. (It’s a long and crazy story).  We married in 1976. Robert convinced me to get back into school and I finished UC Berkeley with a degree Physical Education, specializing in motor development of the handicapped.

2 years after we married,  Robert finished his PhD in Engineering and we moved to where the oil businesses are, Houston TX. I did post bac studies at University of Houston and got a Teaching Credential. We added 2 more beautiful children to our family and after the third was in school, I went back to school again and became an RN.  Have worked Med-Surg,  Home Health, Wound Care and Hyperbarics, Cardiac Rehab. In 1996 I became a Certified Diabetes Educator and have helped to manage patients with diabetes for 12 years. I am presently a school nurse and, because I have no grandchildren, I am really enjoying my 1000+ charges.

Robert and I enjoy traveling, good restaurants and quiet weekends at home. Retirement is just around the corner!
