After leaving St Patrick's, I went to Notre Dame and the family moved from North Hollywood to Sherman Oaks, where they lived for the next 33years. Went to LA Valley College for a year and then was drafted. I, my best friend, and my next door neighbor joined the U.S. Marine Corp. Six months latter we found ourselves in Viet-Nam for the next 13 months. Survived that and came home and went to Calif. State Univ. Northridge. Graduated in 1970, got married to my childhood sweetheart, bought a home in Toluca Lake and went to work. A lot happened after that! Lets skip to present day. Worked for Merrill Lynch for 10 years, left and went back to school. Got my MBA Degree and became a CPA accountant for 5 years. The Viet-Nam War caught up to me and I became very ill from Agent Orange & other things I caught over there. Received a 100% full disability from the Veterans Administration in 2002 and retired. I now spend my time riding motorcycles and taking care of business. That’s about it! Hobbies: Golf, Bonsai Trees and Motorcycles Favorite memories of St. Patrick’s: Getting pants by Mike Whaling and winning the baseball trophy (coached by Marie Crews’ father) in the 8th grade. All my first loves: Marie Crews, Kathy Feeley, Cathy Good, Kathy Young and Loretta Lamas |
