Tom Flavin was appointed President & CEO of enterpriseSeattle in 2005. i have been involved in economic development in multiple capacities serving as Assistant City Manager in Oceanside, California; Mayor and City Councilman in Burbank, California; CEO of the Los Angeles County EDC and the Southeast Business Partnership in the Denver Tech Center. I was recognized by the American Planning Association for “distinguished leadership” in the economic revitalization of Burbank in the 1990’s following the departure of Lockheed Corporation. Tom has also served as an executive in the telecommunications industry with Group W and ICG Telecom. I am a US Army veteran who served in Vietnam in 1968-69. My wife Jeannie and I reside on Whidbey Island, Washington and have three children: Michael, Meghan and Kevin.
