| In October 2008, El Capitan moved the "Shabadah" from Newport Beach to her new homeport of Puento Salina, Baja, California. The Forty-sixers set sail on the last Newport Beach Bay cruise followed by a farewell dinner. The next morning, El Capitan set course for Mexico where the crew was met by landlovers who followed by car.
